Anthony and Phil have been designing school buildings for over 15 years, which means that we have a wealth of experience successfully delivering completed buildings in the education sector. This sector represents half of our business each year.
Since Contour was formed, we have completed over 20 different projects, ranging from feasibility studies through to completed buildings, across all of the age groups and including special schools.
Feedback from our clients and users is consistently very positive, which is reflected in large amounts of repeat work and referrals.
A selection of our school projects includes:
John Hampden Grammar School – a 15 classroom teaching block.
Great Kimble C of E School – an award winning two classroom and main hall extension
Denham Village School – a new hall, IT classroom and internal adaptations
Pebble Brook School – an extension refurbishment and adaptations of an existing SEN teaching block
Iver Schools Programme – a programme of four linked feasibility studies looking how best to accommodate 1FE expansion in the area
We understand the impact of our designs on children’s experiences and enjoyment of their school. Charlotte talks about the large amount of daylight and Jamie says how much he enjoys moving vertically from one level to another.
A difficult scheme given the site location and planning requirements. Despite this, a very good outcome and exceptional quality standards throughout. Excellent feedback from the end user.
Excellent communication throughout. A ‘can do’ attitude at every stage and clear focus on delivery of a quality project.
